MARK HARRIS  VFX SUPERVISOR

This was my first project for Oasis Post. I was one of only a couple of senior compositers working on over 100 shots for this Nicholas Sparks adaption directed by seasoned Australian award-winning director Scott Hicks. I was charged with bringing  a cg lighthouse to life in several key night and day shots and compositing the destruction of a CG treehouse into the films finale. My most challenging work was generating realistic looking light sweeps emenating  from inside the lightouse lamps all done as 3d work inside of Nuke. The creation of 3d partical raindrops and gusting leaves for the treehouse sequence was alao fun to tackle without needing to leave Nuke.
